Cristina ChabotMeLady is the name I give to the girl face I draw on my drawings. MeLady will embody different themes and moods. Hello I am Cristina, I am Portuguese and created MeLady twelve years ago when my granddaughter was born. I always liked to give a twist on my gifts, because giving your own touch makes it special. So I started by drawing postcards to send to my granddaughter. MeLady drawings starts by a simple thought, a mood that I am in, something that I see on my daily life. MeLady drawings are drawn with graphite and color pencils. I have tried to use acrylic paint but it did not appeal to me. I Love color pencils, always did. I remember one of my childhood Christmas, I ask Santa for color pencils palette with one hundred colors. Well Santa brought me fifty and I was very happy.
